Our Story

BeKindDallas was founded in 2020 by a group of community members who recognized the challenges faced by refugee families and unhoused individuals in Dallas. What began as a small effort to provide essential household items to a few families has grown into a comprehensive support network.

Our organization connects volunteers and donors with refugee families and unhoused individuals, providing practical support during their transition to stable housing. We believe that by working together, we can create a more welcoming and supportive community for all.

Today, BeKindDallas has helped over 150 refugee families and unhoused individuals from countries around the world, including Syria, Afghanistan, Ukraine, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as local community members experiencing housing insecurity.
